Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript submitted to ADMINISTRATIO PUBLICA: Jurnal Kajian Administrasi Publik must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must include correct and clear citations to all sources used and clearly distinguish between their own thoughts and quotations from other sources.

Similarity Check:
All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity level of more than 20% may be rejected or requested to be revised, depending on the level and type of similarity.

Plagiarism Level and Actions Taken:

Minor (e.g., short sections copied without citation):
Action: Authors will be given a warning and asked to revise the manuscript by including appropriate citations.

Moderate (e.g., most of the content copied without attribution):
Action: The manuscript will be rejected and the author may be banned from submitting articles to this journal for 1 year.

Severe (e.g., theft of data, ideas, or manuscripts in their entirety):
Action: The manuscript will be rejected and the author may be banned from submitting articles to this journal for 5 years.

Repeated Violations:
Authors who are found to have committed serious plagiarism more than once may be permanently banned from submitting manuscripts to this journal.
